Solar Electrician
Job Responsibilities:
The position consists of installing electrical service equipment, wiring, and electrical equipment for residential and commercial solar systems. The Electricians tasks will also include inspecting electrical components such as transformers and circuit breakers, and ensuring that the systems meet all electrical and building codes. This position also requires providing training and leadership to apprentices, and maintaining a safe work environment.
Requirements:
Must be able to travel
Have a valid Massachusetts Electrical Journeyman and driver’s license
Having another New England state’s Journeyman Electrical license is a plus
Must be detail and deadline oriented
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Must be able to climb ladders, bend conduit, scaffolding
Must be able to work on sloped roofs in all weather conditions
Must be able to create and maintain positive relationships with clients and all team members
Must have excellent communication skills
Must be knowledgeable with quality and health and safety standards
Benefits include Paid Time Off (PTO), 401(k) plan, and Harvard Pilgrim Health insurance.
Monday to Friday with option for Overtime and weekends
